It develops over 32 months with a 312,489 EUR budget.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project is a <\/span><b>transnational and interuniversity initiative<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, led by the University of Huelva in Spain. It is aimed to lay the foundations of a European network \u2014focusing on the <\/span><b>development of new practices to promote student participation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and finding genuine solutions to one of the most pressing challenges of higher education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multisectoral <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">learning, teaching, training activities<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and dissemination events will be held at the European level.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These are the diverse actions to be carried out during the project, which seeks to <\/span><b>promote a high level of participation and its mainstreaming<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moreover, innovative products and services will be generated to <\/span><b>encourage student participation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and ensure <\/span><b>equality and inclusiveness<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically, three groups of learning, teaching and training activities will be organized: a pilot test of student participation indexes; a simulation of MOOCs on student participation and soft skills; and a workshop to stimulate participatory processes and integrated management. Likewise, two major international multiplier events will be held to spread the knowledge gained within the Higher Education Community and more importantly through students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The STUPS consortium consists of five members and is led by the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uhu.es\"><b>University of Huelva<\/b> <\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Spain).\u00a0 It is a well-balanced and complementary team, which includes three higher education institutions, a public agency for evaluation and accreditation of university activities, and the most representative student organisation in Europe with members from 40 countries of the European Higher Education Area and Bologna Process (EHEA). The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uevora.pt\"><b>University of \u00c9vora<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Portugal), the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fh-ooe.at\/en\/\"><b>University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Austria), the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/esu-online.org\/\"><b>European Students\u2019 Union<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Belgium) and the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/deva.aac.es\/?LAN=en\"><b>Directorate of Evaluation and Accreditation of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Spain) are the partners involved in the consortium.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The target group of STUPS are students, student leaders and students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. Likewise, the project pays special attention to university managers with competence over student participation, inclusion and equality to engage in dialogue and raise awareness of the benefits of cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The specific objectives of the action lines aim to increase and improve the knowledge, cooperation, training and awareness of student participation, which is an invaluable source of <\/span><b>social innovation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
