{"id":4851,"date":"2020-01-15T08:58:46","date_gmt":"2020-01-15T08:58:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esu-online.org\/new2022\/projects\/peer-group-a-qualifications-framework-umbrella-project\/"},"modified":"2023-01-25T16:03:20","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T16:03:20","slug":"peer-group-a-qualifications-framework-umbrella-project","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/esu-online.org\/projects\/peer-group-a-qualifications-framework-umbrella-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Peer Group A: Qualifications Framework (Umbrella Project)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b><strong>Thematic Peer Group A<\/strong><\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 2018, the BFUG formally established this&nbsp;<b><strong>Thematic Peer Group A on Qualifications Framework (TPG A on QF)<\/strong><\/b>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;more specifically on&nbsp;Key Commitment 1: a three-cycle system compatible with the overarching frameworks of the EHEA and first and second cycle degrees scaled by ECTS&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;based on the interests and needs indicated by the BFUG members and Consultative members in a survey conducted during the summer of 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific thematic indications include topics such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>self-certification of the national qualification frameworks the overarching Qualifications Framework of the EHEA,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>complete implementation of the ECTS User\u2019s Guide,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>short cycle higher education,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>multiple purposes and use of the qualifications frameworks by the stakeholders,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>study programmes outside of the Bologna three-cycle structure,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>relationship between the qualifications frameworks and quality assurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><b><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ehea.info\/Upload\/Action_Plan_TPGA_20190903.xlsx\">Action plan of the Thematic Peer Group A on Qualifications Framework<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/b>(last update on 12.09.2019)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TPG A on QF Meetings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b><strong>1. The first one is to coordinate the work of the peer group focused on a three-cycle system compatible with the overarching framework of qualifications of the EHEA and first and second cycle degrees scaled by ECTS, monitor the progress and report to the Bologna Implementation Coordination Group. The second objective is to contribute to the peer group\u2019s work by activities focused on national qualifications frameworks and ECTS.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Team:<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The team is composed out of 3 co-chairs, from which one is an assisting country partner (not a co-beneficiary), and from 3 co-beneficiaries. The co-chairs are Kazakhstan, Czech Republic and Finland.
