The project is framed by the 2018 Bologna Implementation Report and Paris Communiqu\u00e9 and the well-known ESU\u2019s Bologna with Student Eyes publications produced by surveying ESU\u2019s national unions.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The overall goal is to <\/span><b>update the latest version of Bologna with Students\u2019 Eyes publication <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2018), analysing the new scenario, requirements for education and training and implementing it from the students\u2019 perspective <\/span><b>in cooperation with stakeholders<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Students across EHEA Countries still believe in the Bologna process reforms but it is necessary to provide a critical overview in order to bring more coherence t<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o HE systems. The project intends to support external researchers, including technicians and experts required to analyze the information collected in assembling BWSE 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The<\/span><b> BWSE2020 will be the 8th publication<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and will present results, together with recommendations that will be written and discussed to allow countries to take further actions to make the implementation of the Bologna agreements more successful.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By involving other stakeholders and countries, this project allows <\/span><b>cross-disciplinary and cross-border cooperation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in order to enable higher education to fully play its role in meeting the challenges faced by our societies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Peer-learning activities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be organised with the involvement of different actors that play a role within the Bologna Process (20-year crossroad) and discuss the problem areas and seek solutions beyond 2020.&nbsp; A final conference, bringing together the experience of EU Institutions and Bodies, Ministries and Students will address the results of BWSE and the outcomes of the mutual learning to identify which topics require particular attention and present suggestions for a stronger future of the Process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The<\/span><b> Consortium<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is coordinated by the <\/span><b>European Students\u2019 Union (ESU) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as a consultative member organisation of EHEA, with the cooperation of the<\/span><b> European Association for Quality Assurance (ENQA),<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/span><b>European University Association (EUA)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <strong>European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE)<\/strong> and four national authorities:<\/span><b> National Commission for Further and Higher Education of Malta,&nbsp;Ministry of Science and Education of Croatia, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Background and context<\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the Bologna Process are a voluntary process building an area with the use of common tools shaped as higher education reforms in order to foster mobility and employability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Students\u2019 Union has been reviewing the implementation of the Bologna Process since 2003 with the <\/span><b>Bologna with Student Eyes (BSWE) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">publication in order to bring students\u2019 voice to the Ministerial tables.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This publication explores the perception of implementation amongst ESU\u2019s members operating in the EHEA countries and seeks to bring attention to the students\u2019 priorities and recommendations for the future of the Bologna Process.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new project for the implementation of Bologna Process BSWE FORward (Bologna with Stakeholders Eyes For a Stronger Future of the Bologna Process) is the new Erasmus+ project led by ESU from June 2020 until May 2022.
